The
Four-Way Test
Rotarians subscribe to
a code of ethics in their
business and daily lives. This ethic is expressed in a
statement of the principles we call the Four-Way Test.
It was originally written by Rotarian Herbert J. Taylor
in 1932. It was adopted by Rotary International in 1943
and has been translated into over 100 languages. It
should be known and followed by al Rotarians.
The Four-Way Test:
-
Is it the TRUTH?
-
Is it FAIR to all
concerned?
-
Will it build
GOODWILL and BETTER FRIENDSHIPS?
-
Will it be BENEFICIAL
to all concerned?
